BURN Manufacturing Co its affiliates and related entities ('BURN') are developing a carbon Programme of Activities (PoA), using Gold Standard’s Reduced Emissions from Cooking and Heating: Technologies and Practices to Displace Decentralized Thermal Energy Consumption (TPDDTEC) methodology. This programme will be called “Clean Cooking Biomass Solutions Program for Africa”

This Program of Activities (PoA) will cover 48 African countries, with an objective to deploy efficient cooking devices, reducing the use of woody biomass consumption of households.

We are interested in receiving your comments on the Programme design at this early stage of PoA implementation so that we can further improve the Programme design. Please find attached to this invitation the Non-Technical Summary of the PoA in English, French, Portuguese, Somali, Amharic and Swahili, which we invite you to give your feedback.

You are invited to fill in and send back the attached feedback form by 9th April 2026 at the latest to allow us to take into account your suggestions.

Mpango huu wa Shughuli (PoA) utashughulikia nchi 48 za Afrika, na lengo lake ni kuweka vifaa vya kupikia vinavyofanya kazi kwa ufanisi, ili kupunguza matumizi ya biomasi ya mbao na shina la miti katika kaya.

Tunavutiwa kupokea maoni yako kuhusu muundo wa Programu katika hatua hii ya awali ya utekelezaji wa PoA, ili tuweze kuboresha zaidi muundo wa Programu. Tafadhali pata kiambatanisho cha Muhtasari Usio wa Kiufundi (Non-Technical Summary) wa PoA katika lugha za Kiingereza, Kifaransa, Kireno, Kisomali, Kiamhariki na Kiswahili, tunakuomba utupatie maoni yako.
