ECOA Climate Capital (“ECC”) inayo furaha kukualika katika kikao cha mashauriano kwa wadau wa ndani (“LSC”) cha Mradi wa Shughuli za Kujitolea (“VPAs”) katika Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania. VPA hizi zitatafuta ithibati yake chini ya Programu ya Shughuli ya Gold standard (“PoA”) – “Programu ya ECC ya Nishati Safi ya Kupikia katika Nchi Mbalimbali”

Lengo la VPA ni kuwezesha kufikiwa kwa teknolojia za kisasa za mapishi kwa watumiaji wa mwisho barani Afrika kupitia uletwaji na matumizi ya majiko (stovu) za umeme, hivyo kupunguza ama kubadili  matumizi ya kuni  ama maranda (mabaki ya mbao) katika kaya, taasisi na biashara ndogo na za kati (SMEs).

Kwa muktadha huu  kikao cha mashauriano kwa wadau wa ndani kitafanyika ili kutoa taarifa za msingi kuhusu mradi na na kupata maoni   kwa urali huohuo kutoka kwa wadau kwenye maeneo mbalimbali yatakayojadiliwa. Haya yanahusisha  wanajamii, mashirika yasiyoya kiserikali, vikundi vya wanawake, taasisi za utafiti, watunga sera kwa ngazi ya taifa. Tafadhali kumbuka kuwa Ushauri huu wa kitaalamu kwa wadau wa ndani  utakuwa na uhalali kwa Shughuli zozote za Mradi wa Kujitolea (VPAs)  zinazotekelezwa nchini Tanzania na ECOA Climate Capital Gold Standard vya PoA, kupitia “Programu ya ECC ya Nishati Safi ya Kupikia katika Nchi Mbalimbali”; ikiwa yatazingatia usawa/ uwiano kama wa kuleta majiko ya aina ile ile, itawalenga watumiaji wale wale na itakuwa na mipaka sawa/ ile ile ya mradi.

Invitation to Local Stakeholder Consultations for Tanzania Gold Standard Voluntary Project Activities (VPAs) under the Gold Standard PoA: “ECC_Multi-country Electric Clean Cooking Programme.

Dear Stakeholder, 

ECOA Climate Capital (“ECC”) is pleased to invite you to a Local Stakeholder Consultation (“LSC”) meeting for its planned Voluntary Project Activities (“VPAs”) in the Republic of Tanzania. These VPAs will seek certification under the Gold Standard Programme of Activities (“PoA”) “ECC_Multi-country Electric Clean Cooking Programme”. 

The objective of the VPAs is to provide access to modern cooking technologies to end-users across Africa through deployment of electric and metered cookstoves, hence reducing or displacing woody biomass consumption for households, institutions and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

In this context the LSCs will be carried out to provide key project design information and to solicit feedback on the same from a varied cross section of stakeholders. These include local community members, non-governmental organizations, women groups, research institutes policy makers at the National and County level. Please note that this Local Stakeholder Consultation would be also valid for any other Voluntary Project Activities (VPAs) implemented in Tanzania under ECOA Climate Capital Gold Standard PoA “ECC_Multi-country Electric Clean Cooking Programme”, provided that they are homogeneous, i.e., deploy the same stove type(s), target the same end-users and consist of the same project boundary. 

ECOA Climate Capital (Coordinating and Managing Entity of the PoA) invites all interested parties to attend one of the following Local Stakeholder Consultation meetings.
