Project overview

GS12350 is a Kenya-focused clean cooking initiative that reduces greenhouse gas emissions, improves household air quality, and eases pressure on forests by distributing high-efficiency Kuniokoa stoves. Baseline and monitoring are conducted using Kitchen Performance Tests and household surveys, and the activity is verified under Gold Standard. The project was launched in late 2022 and continues to scale through local partners, community networks, and user training.

Kenya targets universal access to clean cooking by 2030. GS12350 contributes directly by accelerating adoption in rural areas, reducing wood demand and indoor air pollution while supporting local employment and skills.
